He further highlighted the significance of the promotion, noting the role of the Commander-in-Chief in entrusting them with greater responsibility. “It is prudent to note that His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Commander-in-Chief of the ZDF, Cde Dr. Emmerson Mnangagwa, has given you the ranks to capacitate you to better serve those above and below with utmost loyalty, integrity, patriotism, and adherence to the laws and regulations of Zimbabwe.”

Brigadier General Rangwani urged the newly promoted officers to rise to the expectations of their new ranks and contribute meaningfully to national development. “I therefore urge you to double your efforts and excel in our mandate to support Vision 2030 by maintaining a peaceful environment so that the government's effort to turn around the economy succeeds without fail,” he said. He also challenged the officers to demonstrate commitment and professionalism in their duties, emphasizing the importance of discipline and ethical conduct in the military.

In concluding his remarks, Brigadier General Rangwani urged the officers to justify their promotion through hard work and dedication, calling for “revitalized determination, unparalleled commitment, and exemplary leadership and conduct.” He emphasized that patriotism remains imperative to national service and the success of Zimbabwe’s development goals.
