A devastating incident in Buhera has left a family shattered after a 10-year-old boy was swept away by a flooded river. Tashinga Chirinda was with his family on their way home from church when the tragedy occurred.
Tashinga's mother, Memory Purazen, and his siblings, Tinotenda (16) and Talent (12), survived by clashing onto shrubs, but Tashinga was washed away by the strong current. His body was later retrieved and taken to Murambinda Hospital.
The incident has left the family and community in shock. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
