As the movement and awareness gathers momentum we are still taking time to have a listen to the far crys of men.
St3ven M.F Jones an auto electrician, shared his thoughts and expressed deeper emotions on the state of affairs.
He bemoaned how efforts men make are often if not at all reciprocated, highlighting and raising some sensitive issues.
"Unheard struggles, unseen pain. Men sacrifice, men provide but when the weight gets too heavy, we're left to carry the blame. The Unspoken Pain,
He continued unraveling the depth and essence of his pain
"Men are not appreciated rather we are expected
to be providers and shoulders a sentiment that is rarely reciprocated,
"Our effort is rarely seen until your back is broken and when that happens there is no one to push the wheel chair for us we are told or rather have been raised to man up,"
M.F Jones is still caught up in the pain of years ago,he relives it like it just happened. He had to drop out of college to finance the love of his life who later turned out to be just a figment of his imagination.
"We have put our dreams on hold for that special one only for them to come back and tell us we not vibing anymore. Two days in college you are now a Rosekate!
'She bluntly told me handichazi type yake, akabva ati ndipe 3months to pay you back what i owe, we are on different paths now.
"A gut-wrenching ache so raw, the mere thought of it still hurts me," seemingly resentful at the mention of it.
We sincerely hope he recovers otherwise this whole campaign and awareness is defeated if people like M.F. Jones can't heal.
Gradually pushing it in and letting it out at the same time he seemed to have found his niche.
"Women seem to think hatinyatsofunga, kapain kekugara uchifunga mnhu anofunga kt haufunge, haaa kari painful.
'If you get abused by a woman no one cares. Then comes the beer, our only solace," he wailed in anguishing agony.
Having gotten his grip now seemingly absorbed in the conversation, he went on.
"So men have to put up with a lot of disrespect just because we want a family, we shut it in and bottle it up and when we can't take it any more and explode we are suddenly the antichrist," he stressed.
