Return of Rhinos: a marvel to behold

The return of white rhinos to Gonarezhou not only enhances the park's biodiversity but also boosts ecotourism, crucial for local communities.

A significant milestone testament to the power of collaborative conservation efforts. The park had however, reintroduced black rhinos in 2021.

According to recent reports 29 white rhinos have been relocated after nearly a century in absence.

Efforts were made possible by Gonarezhou Conservation Trust and partnerships between Zimbabwe Parks & Wildlife Management Authority and the Frankfurt Zoological Society, with support from Malilangwe Trust and other donors.

It is everybody's responsibility to take care of our rhinos and report any cases if poaching.

Wildlife deserves to live as well, no matter how wild it gets.
