Madrid - Kylian Mbappé has officially received the Golden Boot for the 2024/25 season, adding yet another accolade to his glittering career — and for the first time, as a Real Madrid player.

In a light-hearted moment during the award ceremony, the French superstar addressed the crowd in Spanish. “Hello everyone, I'm going to speak Spanish because I think no one would understand French,” he joked, drawing laughter and applause.

With the entire Real Madrid squad standing proudly behind him, Mbappé expressed heartfelt gratitude for achieving his lifelong dream. “It’s a pleasure to be here at Real Madrid. It’s always been my dream since I was a kid. Now I’m here and I hope to be here for many years,” he said.

The Golden Boot marks his dominance in front of goal this past season, underlining his seamless transition into the Los Blancos setup. “I want to thank the Real Madrid fans. Their support means a lot to me,” Mbappé added.

His words, combined with his performance on the pitch, have quickly endeared him to the Madrid faithful, who now look forward to many more golden moments from their new talisman.
