In an interview with Bloomberg, co-owner Jorge Mas revealed that the Argentinian star costs the club between €60 and €74 million annually. "I pay Messi — and he's worth every penny — but it comes out to between €60 and €74 million a year, all included," Mas said.

This figure includes not just Messi's salary, estimated at around €18 million per season, but also other costs such as contractual clauses tied to the franchise's valuation. Since Messi's arrival in 2023, Inter Miami's value has skyrocketed from €535 million to over €1.24 billion.
