The Gauteng police have expressed concerns over the continued operation of outlets selling illicit alcohol in the province. These outlets are reportedly selling unregulated, untaxed, or illegally produced alcoholic drinks, including dangerous homemade brews.

The police are worried about the potential health risks associated with consuming these illicit products, as well as the impact on the economy due to tax evasion.
