The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is rolling out the Leading Learning for Gender Equality (LLGE) Programme in Goromonzi and Zvimba District, aiming to strengthen school leadership and promote gender equality in schools.
The programme, supported by the British Council Zimbabwe and Higherlife Foundation, equips school leaders with skills and tools to drive meaningful improvement in schools and advance inclusive, high-quality education nationwide.
Day 2 of the training focuses on establishing a conducive school culture and climate, improving instructional leadership, and achieving high-quality teaching and learning for both girls and boys.
Key Objectives:
- Strengthen school leadership to improve teaching and learning
- Promote gender equality in schools
- Enhance instructional leadership skills
- Improve student outcomes through evidence-based approaches
