Botswana's national football team, also known as The Zebras, has been eliminated from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after suffering two consecutive defeats in Group D. They lost 3-0 to Senegal and 1-0 to Benin, leaving them with zero points and no chance of advancing to the knockout stage, even with one game remaining against DR Congo .
The latest loss to Benin was a 1-0 defeat, with Yohan Roche scoring the winning goal in the 28th minute. Botswana's struggles in the tournament continue, with the team now having lost five consecutive AFCON matches .
